Kenya surprises all by coming second with 3 shots.

Whilst South Africa reigned supreme at the Africa Junior Challenge, it was Kenya who suprised all by coming second with 3 shots from Zimbabwe, thus securing a spot as the second African country to participate in the World Junior Team championships in Japan this June.

The player for Kenya this week was Lee Njoroge who improved daily and shot a level par 71 round on the final day to make it count. Bhavnish Chandaria and Rachit Patel both Kenya boys champions performed admirably with scores of 73 each to rob Zimbabwe of a comeback on the last day. Zimbabwe's rounds of 71, 73 and 74 were not good enough in the end.

Louis Oosthuizen, Africa's number one junior, had rounds of 67,69 and 69 and finished with a 2 over par, 73 on the last day.
