Entrants must be under the age of 16 years and the JGF have selected Christina Engell Andersen (14 years), pictured above and Wahome Wambugu (15 years), pictured left.

The event is held alongside the 131st Open Championship at Muirfield and is organised by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Juniors from all over the world have been invited to compete in three categories, Golf, Silver and Bronze. Both Christina and Wahome will also be competing for the African Trophy, awarded to the competitor (from an African golf union) with the lowest net score for the first two rounds.
