GUIDANCE FOR MEMBER CLUBS KGU OFFICIAL FIXTURES AND APPROVED OPEN EVENTS

1. Member Clubs are reminded that they must not stage their own Open, Invitation or major sponsored men's club events on dates reserved for KGU Official Fixtures.
2. Whilst fixtures shown in the KGU List of Approved Open Events are not regarded as KGU Official Fixtures, the KGU asks Member Clubs to try to avoid competing fixtures as far as possible.
3. The KGU Chairman or his representative will attend all KGU Official Fixtures, but will not normaly attend other Open Events in the absence of an invitation from the host Club.
4. The KGU reserves the right in extreme cases to withdraw Golfer of the Year status from any event if the condition of the course on the date of the fixture justifies such a decision.
